Swimming the Solent for DSMT
I did it!!!
Amazingly the rain stopped, the wind dropped and the sun peeked through the clouds.
Our team – myself, Jack (my swim buddy) and Dave (the Kayaker) – set off early on Sunday 15th July from Hurst Castle on the mainland with 64 swimmers and 46 kayakers to reach Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight in 34 minutes. An amazing send off by the supporting boats and kayakers and a fantastic welcome home in Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight. A truly memorable experience.
