21 year old Kamilah* from Dheishah refugee camp has struggled with camp life.

Traumatic experiences as a child made her an anxious and nervous young woman. Things began to change when she heard an announcement in the camp about the Vocational Training Centre in Jericho. With support from her parents she plucked up courage to register there. Now, her confidence has grown. She’s enjoying her course and knows she wants to work in graphic design or photography. Since meeting new people, Kamilah feels she has changed.  Her personality is stronger and more lively and she has some confidence about her future.
